Q

Who Are You?
A
I am Doug. I run this little website here, and it's predecessor "AFK for Life". I run all the code, keep it up to date, make sure nothing breaks, write the reviews, take the landscape shots, and draw/color/script the upcoming comic.

Can I Write Reviews for your Website?

95% of the time no, but there is always that exception to the rule...

Q
How do you decide what games/movies to review?
A
It's an odd combination of my taste, my budget, the hype, and whether or not my movie buddies want to see it.
Q
Why haven't you reviewed [INSERT GAME/MOVIE HERE] yet?
A
Because I either haven't gotten around to it yet, haven't heard of it, don't care about it, or it isn't available in my region.

Q
Why do you do "World of Warcraft" Landscapes?
A
A long time ago, when the Earth was green, I had just finished up my first "real" web-tech class, and challenged myself to make a website from scratch. When I sat down to make it, I asked myself "What should I do this on?" I ended up deciding to take some pretty screenshots around the Warcraft landscape to help not only my web skills, but also to convince a few people to play; you know, with the "Look how pretty it is!" argument. I wanted more content, so I carried them over into the site.

What does Ecoticity even mean?
A
Ecoticity is a concept I invented for my comic. In the year 2134, scientists "discovered" a new energy source. For years, we used Electricity to power our lights, trash compacters, everything around us, but Ecoticity replaces it completely. It creates energy, much like Electricity, but quintuple the efficiency; not to mention it's significantly easier to generate. The world is powered by it almost completely. Plus, it was an available .com domain... Don't you judge me!
