Important Comic Announcement! Also: Ranting!

It has come time to talk about the state of the Eco. As you may have noticed, I changed up the site æsthetics again. Before you berate me for my fickleness, I must say that this design is sticking for a good while. The last 4 site designs I did (AFK 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, and Ecoticity 1.0) were always a matter of "Well, it looks better than the last one, I guess I'll settle for it." Ecoticity V2.0 is, however, less of a matter of settling and more of a matter of "This looks freakin' awesome! Let's stick with this!" I am, for once, impressed with my site. This'll be sticking.
You might notice one button missing; the "Comic" button. It used to link to a "Coming Soon" page, but I have since taken it off. I have a deep-rooted fear of missing a comic update. Yes, I miss review updates occasionally (only once in this site's history,) but I am truly afraid of becoming just another webcomic that misses its updates. Everyone stereotypes webcomics as lacking discipline, updating "whenever they feel like it." I don't want to be one of them. I want to be one that proves the stereotype wrong, updating every single update day on time, regardless of if I'm on vacation or sick. That's the first reason there is no comic yet, and won't be one for a while. Allow me to elaborate.
In being afraid of missing an update I am highly paranoid, therefore I set myself to finish 50 comics before I considered posting them. This, I cannot do yet. I have no tablet, only a mouse. This does not make my art look great. I need to wait until I have a tablet that I can draw on. Look at any popular webcomic out there and you'll see variations in line thickness, shadowing, all that fancy stuff that I'm incapable of. I need a tablet, and I need a bit of training; self-taught isn't working out so well.
Don't worry, I am not dumping it, I'm probably just waiting about a year or so. In the meantime, I will still be scripting, doing concept art, and whatnot, but there will be no actual comics made for quite a while. For this, I am sincerely sorry.
I will be keeping up with a review a week (minimum), and possibly put out more Warcraft Landscapes, but for now it's still just a gallery with no update schedule. As for this blog, you know how I am with updating it. Back in the day, I would write a blog post for everything: I see a cool new video, a new Warcraft patch comes out, I'm getting excited for a new game/movie, I do something cool in Real Life or otherwise - I blog about it here. Nowadays, I do all that in my Twitter feed (which I would suggest you follow if you care about all the "little things" I do/have/find), and save the blog for more "important" stuff. All I really post here are the long, rambling, ranty posts I do when something changes in the site, or I feel really bad for not posting anything (like this right here! Fits all above categories!). Zeus only knows when I will actually do a blog post, so they might very well be few and far between, but who knows, I might just end up doing them more often (don't count on it.)
Now that I've got all my site-based maundering out of the way, I can talk about something else of importance! Oh wait, no I can't, nothing exciting is happening. Perhaps something will come up in a week or so I can blog about. Chances are you won't see a new blog post for another month or so, just because I'm lazy. It's true, sorry.
Until next time, may the Zombies be Merciful.
